For years I have worked out at different classes at the gym and always loved keeping fit but I have found that no matter how many spin classes or bodypump classes I go to nowadays I just cant tone up or loose weight like I used to. I joined the fresh air gym just 2 weeks ago and I can already feel my fitness levels improving. Every session is completley different and you never get bored of the same old thing. Sally and Jamie push you to your limits so no cheating or hiding at the back like you may be tempted to do at a gym. The sessions are good fun and when you have finished you feel a sense of achievment. I have already signed up for the August bootcamp and cant wait for it to start!

I have been doing bootcamp since last year and have lost a dress size, my body shape has totally changed, I have more muscle and stamina and generally feel much better. The best bit is I've made some fantastic friends and the workouts are always fun (albeit challenging). The best form of exercise! I love it!

I unfortunately missed July's 2 week boot camp, and miss it so much, I look forward to the fun but beasty workouts by Sally and Jamie, and to see all my lovely bootcamp friends, I have had a difficult few weeks and have lacked motivation, but after texting Sally, she told me about the bootcamp homework she had set, and with her words of encouragement, I have reignited my spark, I can't wait for August to start and catch up with everyone, Thanks again to Sally and Jamie, as I am now 2 stone lighter and loads fitter than when I started last september.

I have been having fun at Boot Camp since November 2009- I have lost count just how many Boot Camps that is, it's lots. I look forward to each session whatever the weather because I know I'm off to meet my Boot Camp Buddies and have fun. There is a lot of banter, some time to catch up and make friends, oh, and a lot of hard work too. My fitness level has been improving steadily, I don't always realise just how much because everyone else is improving too and it is still hard work. I went to the doctors this week and had my blood pressure and resting heart rate checked. My GP looked at the results and asked me if I was an athlete!
I am still giggling about it now, me-an athlete -Thank you Sally, Jamie and my Boot Camp buddies for keeping me entertained and working me hard. Fresh Air Gym I LOVE IT ! You would be mad not to, come and join in.

What can i say to express my feeings on boot camp other than I LOVE IT!!! If you want to get fit, drop a dress size (or a few) meet some really fantastic people and have some great fun in the process then boot camp is for you! I suffer with a Thyroid disorder that comes with crappy side effects like fatigue, lack of energy, muscle weakness and weight gain to name a few. Before starting boot camp i had always been a member of a gym since being diagnosed & combined with healthy eating exercised regularly 3 times a week, sometimes 4, however i still wasnt losing any weight! I would get sick a lot and felt like my illness was beating me. When my friend helen found out about sal & jamies classes i thought i'd give it a try! I mean what did i have to lose! Im now on my 8th Boot camp and i've lost a stone & a half so far, i've never been so toned in my life and i've never been so confident in myself. After years of battling with my weight going from a size 14-16 to a 10-12 is the best feeling in the world! I hardly ever get sick anymore (touch wood) & i've got energy coming out of my ears! My doctors say im the healthiest i've been in years and i owe it all to sal & jamie! Granted i have enough motivation to get myself there but sal & jamie do the rest! The only person who you need to convince to do this is yourself so instead of thinking about it just do what me and all my boot camp friends did and sign up! It will be one of the best decisions you ever make and one you wont regret!

Yahoo, I have completed my first boot camp and can honestly say I cannot wait for the next one!!! Met some lovely people, and Sally and Jamie are brilliant trainers. Even though I can only manage 2 out of 3 sessions a week, my fitness has improved greatly, and my waist is coming back. So glad I bit the bullet, after much umming and ahhing, best thing I have done. Hard work but so much fun. Roll on 2nd November

I have been at Bootcamp for around 6 months now, and i couldn't be happier. My weight loss has been the easiest ever and my fitness level has gone through the roof!!! Everyone should try at least one month before they dismiss it. It will be the best thing you ever do.

After years of claiming I was going to do some exercise and get fit, I finally achieved just that this year when I tried Bootcamp in January. What was intended to be a one off has quickly become a hobby of mine and I've succeeded in turning myself from a couch potato into an exercise junkie!!! I am now on my eighth bootcamp month and have progressed from the beginners class through intermediates and up to marine fit so have proved it is possible for anyone to better their fitness levels.
I have shed a stone and a half, improved my fitness, agility, made new friends and feel a more confident person for my efforts. It's been hard work and sometimes you feel like you can't do it, but the rewards are worth it, the classes are fun, diverse and never the same and the motivation you get from the instructors and your colleagues inspires you to keep going. It certainly is better than going to the gym indoors and you get to be in the fresh air, all weathers too. I would strongly advise anyone who wants to see results to give Bootcamp a go, I'm certainly glad I did. You will be too!!!!

I've done it! I've completed my first Boot Camp. What an experience. After the first session I honestly wondered what I had let my self in for and I really didn't think I was going to see it through. I have never worked so hard in a fitness session but the sence of achievement at the end of every session is brilliant. I have signed up for my next Boot Camp and can't imagine not carrying on to many more. So it's a great big THANKYOU to Sally and Jamie.

I'd not done any real physical exercise since school - and I'd skived as much of that as I could get away with. I'd done my sporadic annual gym memberships like most people; and like most people I'd attacked it with enthusiasm only to die off and not bother going for the final 10 months of the membership. Most of my friends would class me as the least likely to "do" things - go-karting, laser quest, paint balling - they'd all be a huge no-no for me....
Until now! I started bootcamp in July and I've just signed up for my third one. In that time I've moved from beginners to intermediate advanced in one jump - not bad for a lazy git like me :) Bootcamp gives you something to look forward to during rubbish days at work; it makes you feel fabulously fit; it helps you to look loads better as you tone up really quickly. It also gives you a massive buzz - both from working out and from the team work you undertake.
It's like personal training - but better. There's a small team of you that all work together, and if you feel like skiving a session you know that you're going to have to explain (not just to Sally and Jamie) to the whole team that you were a lazy git and couldn't be bothered - that in itself is great motivation not to miss a session ;)

No more sweaty gyms at my own effortless pace..........I have suddenly found something that i enjoy and pushes me to the limit,in the freshair,in all weathers....I need that someone behind me motivating encouraging me and pushing me to the max.....
This is my second bootcamp and i can honestly say this is the best thing i have ever done ,its not easy ,especially when your 42 without a thyroid ...but who wants easy...i want results and i am seeing them already...My fitness levels have increased my stamina is better and my muscle tone is a bit more defined...i still have a long way to go that way ,but i know with sally and jamie behind me i will get there....mindwise this certainly clears your head and relieves stress too......Roll on my next boot camp session

I know i've posted before but I can't thank Sally Jamie enough. I've just finished another boot camp (my 4th) and have signed up for a 5th.
Looking back I can't believe how much I've changed. I'm almost 2 1/2 stone lighter than I was only 4 months ago. The 'beer barrel' stomach has gone and the '6 pack' is on it's way (got one cheap off ebay). Seriously, this is the best thing I've ever done. My life is now planned around boot camp. It's that addictive!!
Sally and Jamie are stars. They push me when needed and motivate me after that 'bad day at work'. Even that feeling is gone after the session when you stand there and realise what you've just accomplished.
On day 1, I couldn't even do 1/2 a session. Jamie came over, put his hand on my shoulder and said 'don't worry mate, we'll get you fit'. I thought, 'if they believe in me after that demonstration of un-fitness, then I can do this'. It's that simple motivation and belief that drives me. I don't want to let Sally, Jamie or myself down.
Come on folks, put that remote control down, get off the sofa and come along. If you give it a chance and just see what a difference it makes, you'll be signing up for month 2 at the end of your first week.
I can now say that 'yes! I've been there, i'm doing that and have got the t-shirt'.
It's not boot camp - it's a lifestyle.

I was/am a 36 year old typical flabby unfit slob!
I took the decison to join this Boot Camp and managed to pursuade my 60 year old mother to join too.
The last time i ran anywhere was to get to the pub for last orders or the curry house before closing time.
I have just completed my first month and after the first session i wondered how on earth i would make it through the 4 weeks.
I have noticed huge differences in my stamina, recovery time and muscle definition.
Expect to work hard but the rewards are more than worth it.
Sally and Jamie get the perfect balance between discipline & fun.

When my daughter suggested Boot Camp my husband thought i was mad to be doing something like this at 60. Anyway i decided to have a go. I have really enjoyed my first month, although sometimes I thought i would never make it, but i did. I certainly feel much fitter and now find walking and cycling much easier to do. Age doesnt matter at all and you dont feel out of place, its good fun so come and have a go.

I saw the advertisement for Fresh Air Gym in the Chase Post and I thought maybe I could give that a go, contacted Sally and booked in. All I can is WOW!!!! This is a totally different form of exercise, all outdoors in all weather but it is so invigorating that it takes hold and Wham!! you're addicted!!! I never new what to expect on that first session and I really didn't think I could do it, but with the help and support from Sally and Jamie it's amazing what you can acheive. I am now on my third Bootcamp and loving it.......you just have to try it!!

I'm now just begining my second Boot Camp and before starting my first, i looked up the word "unfit" in the dictionary and was not suprised to find my picture next to the definition. What a difference a month makes! On my first session, i was worried that my Homer Simpson esq figure would not let me complete the month. How wrong was I? With the help of Super Sally and Jamie (who i'm suprised don't run around in capes and wear their underwear over their trousers), i've lost a stone in weight and my fitness has dramatically improved. The motivation provided by Jamie and Sally as well as the group sessions inspire you to carry on even if it's a yard further than last session.
Boot Camp is adictive and fun...those of us who have attended have all asked the "red sign" if it agrees. (if you've been, you'll understand).`
Give it a try, you'll love it!!

Since having my baby I seemed to have no energy, that was until I joined Bootcamp! Now I have a new lease of life and my confidence is back! Now its my second bootcamp and I'm addicted. I've made new friends and it fits perfectly around my hectic family life. My fitness levels have really improved and this spurs me on to reach my next goals! I LOVE IT! I've now joined up for my third month!

I never thought I would say this but I have really enjoyed Bootcamp, especially as I previously considered myself to be a 'couch potato'. I have tried every diet and gym subscription locally and always failed at the first hurdle. Bootcamp is so different - I just love it! Its hard work but I have received support from Sally and Jamie which has led to me actually completing a months course. I feel fitter, have lost 10lbs and actually have found some form of excercise that I like. Working together in a group is fun, encourages moral, motivation and new friendships. I have now enrolled for another month and would certainly recommed you give it a go ...its addictive!

After losing my husband last year I had lost interest in everything and had piled on weight by comfort eating and eating the wrong foods. I needed to do something about my weight and also needed a new interest to help me through this difficult time and to give me something else to focus on. My youngest daughter will soon be planning her wedding so it would be nice to get slimmer for this. I tried a conventional gym but found this boring and it did not motivate me at all as the staff gave no encouragement or support. After seeing the advert about the Fresh Air Gym I plucked up courage and joined. I have now completed my first 4 weeks of boot camp and surprised myself as despite the hard work I have really enjoyed it and feel proud of my achievement in improving my fitness. This is contributable to the kindness and encouragement given by Jamie and Sally and the friendship of the other boot campers without this support I would have given up at the first hurdle. I am now looking forward to my next boot camp.

after a gap of a few years between different discliplines of excersize, Bootcamp is excersize that finally ticks all the boxes for me. all the motivation and a team spirit that makes you want to come again and again, i have surpassed what i thought i could do in a single month, and with my own determination and sally and jamies motivation, i look to develop my lifestyle for the better permanentley, after 1 month lost 10lbs, and almost 2 inches off my waist

Thank you again.

The ultimate 'comfort zone' gym-goer, in my first month at the Fresh Air Gym's Boot Camp I feel I've achieved more that I did in a whole year of going to a conventional gym. A mix of my re-awakened competitive instinct, Sally and Jamie's 'good cop, bad cop' routine of encouragement and chastisment and the camraderie of fellow boot campers mean that I've really pushed myself for the first time in years - and am reaping the benefits. Roll on February boot camp!

If you were on Cannock Chase this morning in the Marquis Drive area you may have seen us on our last boot camp after 4 weeks of hard work. Before we started I hadn't exercised for about 14 years and would never have imagined that 4 weeks later I'd be running around the chase and exercising with logs. It has been a tough but thoroughly enjoyable journey. Jamie and Sally are excellent at pushing you all within your capabilities so that you feel you have achieved something great by the end of it (that's why Ben gets the harness!) I'll be back for more, absolutely!

4 weeks ago if anyone had asked me if exercise was fun, the answer would have been a resounding no. 4 weeks later after just finishing my first bootcamp I am amazed at how much fun it has actually been; yes It is hard work but the key is to remain positive and let Jamie & Sally do the rest. I feel really proud of myself and having lost almost 1/2 stone and some flabby bits in the bargain, I feel quite exhilarated! THANK YOU SALLY & JAMIE for FINDING MY SPARK !!

Just wanted to say a big thank you!! The last 4 weeks have been tough but so enjoyable at the same time. The whole group was lovely and I think the way that every single session was so different was really fantastic and kept it fresh! Credit to you both, thanks again.

Now in my secod month of Boot Camp, I am well and truly hooked! Sally and Jamie are fantastic, tailoring the workouts so that they are varied, challenging and above all, fun. I used to be a religious gym-goer, but having tried the Fresh Air Gym I am 100% converted. It is great to be outside come rain or shine, training with a group of lovely people, it makes the time fly. Thanks guys, I am fitter than i have been in a long time. Sign me up for January!

34 used to be keen on all sports but suddenly found himself sitting at home getting older (and bigger) desperately needed to get fit. Went to one session (after a lot of soul searching)! with jamie and sally and realised how much fun can be had with guys who seem to love what they do. The variation is great and considering i hate gyms because of boredom the fact that i now look forward to every session is testament in itself. One word of warning if you see a harness on the floor then be afraid very afraid.............! love it guys see you every camp!

I am 25 and single mum of a 5 year old, I also work full time.
I lacked alot of self confidence before joining this group, and even though a couple of times of not going through with it , But that was until after my first session. Jamie and Sally are great they are very professional and give you the drive to push that little bit more, they make you feel very comfortable and never stop encouraging you, ( god knows where they get all that enthusiasm from, But it sure does the trick ) after a couple of sessions i feel alot more confident and now i really do enjoy going and have even planned on doing another boot camp before this one has even finished!!
The fact that its outdoors is great, the times of the boot camps are also good they fit in perfectly around both my child care and my work life.
Give it a go.. you never know you might actually enjoy getting fit!!
Thanks Guys See You Thursday xxx

I am very busy with 3 young children and 2 businesses to run. I can honestly say that I have never felt that enthused about keeping fit but at 44 and needing plenty of energy i thought it was time to convert and try and get fit. Boot camp is a completely new experience for me, I love the fact it's outdoors and look forward to each session. I was very nervous to join but can honestly say Sally and Jamie are lovely ,totally putting you at ease with their enthusiasm. By week 2 I can already feel my energy levels improving. Thanks Guys!

I was really worried about going to boot camp on my own as I’ve never really been to anything like this before. But I needn't have been and after just 1 week I feel like I’ve made friends in the group. I can honestly say there was nothing to fear and I would say to anyone that if you're feeling nervous ... just try it ... it's so friendly and nice. I love the sessions. Sally and Jamie don't judge and really made me feel good about myself. I’ve lost 3lbs in my first week and I also feel so much more confident already. Being a mum of 2 girls under 3 I have really felt this has got me doing something for myself and now I've started I know I've got someone to spur me on (which I think I needed). I'd recommend boot camp to anyone.

At 44 with a young family and a demanding job, it was time to try to get my body back into some kind of shape.
I joined Boot camp and straight away started to feel the benefit.
Jamie and Sally know just how hard to push and get the best out of you.
The hour fly’s by with every session having a new twist.
I would encourage anyone to join and have a go.

Thank you Sally and Jamie, the last four weeks have been tough but have been worth it, i have reached above and beyond the goal i set for myself due to your coaching. I will look forward to Feb Boot Camp to continue losing weight and gaining fitness.

Just returned from first session of week two and I feel good, d-n-d-n-d-n-d, I knew that I would.......x
I have loved the first week of training. Every time I leave that field I am already looking forward to getting back on it for a new challenge. Jamie and Sally are professional and enthusiastic and the group is fun to work with. Don't think that 4 weeks will be enough for me!!! THUMBS UP GUYS! :)))))
Thanks Guy’s
