The Fresh Air Gym offers a refreshing approach to fitness, providing monthly ‘Boot Camp’ fitness courses or one-to-one personal training in the great outdoors.
And, unlike many conventional ‘indoor’ gyms, with the Fresh Air Gym you sign up for courses on a month-by-month basis - there’s no hefty upfront membership fee followed by monthly payments. The course works out at just under £5 per session – great value considering it’s almost like having a personal trainer!
Once you’ve signed up you’ll meet with course leaders, Sally and Jamie, to discuss your current level of fitness and your goals to ensure that activity is geared to your needs.

And while regular Boot Camp sessions are based at the well-equipped, flood-lit Cannock Hockey Club, easily accessible from the Stafford, Cannock and Wolverhampton areas, whenever conditions are right sessions are held on Cannock Chase, making the most of the outstanding natural beauty and challenging terrain we’re lucky enough to have on our doorstep.

You’ll then take part in three 45 minute sessions a week over a four week period and, rather than being left to your own devices once you’ve had your induction, you’ll be constantly supervised and instructed during your sessions to ensure you work to your full potential and meet your goals.
With morning, afternoon and evening sessions spread over three days a week ‘Boot Camp’ has already attracted a diverse range of members, with ages ranging from late teens to late fifties, from all over Staffordshire.
