~ What if I can't do an exercise? If you're struggling you can ask for an easier version of the exercise. If you want to skip an exercise it's always good to march or jog on the spot to keep your body moving.
~ What if I can't keep up? There are no long runs in Boot Camp where you could get left behind. Most exercises are quite short so it's unlikely you'll feel like you're holding anyone back. The different Boot Camps also help to ensure you feel comfortable in your group. We don't have athletes and beginners in the same sessions.
~ Is it suitable for pregnancy? Our Boot Camps have not been designed with pregnancy in mind. If you're pregnant then you need to seek advice from your GP with regards to appropriate exercise. Personal Training sessions can be designed around your pregnancy once you have taken medical advice.
~ Will I build muscle? No .. not in the way a body builder does. In order to build significant muscle you'd have work the muscles harder and more frequently than we do at Boot Camp and follow a specific diet. We aim to give you good all round body tone that will enable good fitness levels and a healthy lifestyle so that you can get the most from life's adventures.
~ What should I wear? When you enrol on Boot Camp you'll be given lots of detail and advice about appropriate clothing. Obviously you'll need to think about staying warm, dry and protected from the wind. A good pair of trainers or running shoes is very important.
